Million Dots For Christ is a website that sells advertising space. Last year, with just me using it, I raised over $1,500 for SFC.
This year, as by request of multiple pastors and youth leaders, we are opening up MDFC so that other youth groups can use it to raise money for their local SFC offering. MDFC is free for you to use.
MDFC has been published by USA Today, the Star Tribune and other local papers. We have been on numerous websites, including theapostolicreport.com and revjtwheeler.wordpress.com
MDFC can be used in 2 ways. The first way is to just go business to business and sell the ad space. The next way is to couple it with your move-a-thon as a value-add to those that sponsor you.
MDFC is better than the average SFC fundraiser because you dont have any inventory, you have nothing to return, nothing to track. You are also selling to businesses, who most teenagers dont ask.
How it works:
- Sign up your church at http://milliondotsforchrist.org/admin_signup.php
- Asign a “administrator” to the account (this person adds the ad spaces that you sell in the admin panel)
- Download the sponsorship form from the admin panel home, after logging in at admin.milliondotsforchrist.org
- go to local businesses and sell the ad space. Collect the money on the spot if they buy it, and fill out the form with the ad information
